Business Development Manager - Traffic Management Company

Salary: up to £70,000 basic (depending on experience) plus Car Allowance
Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 5.30pm (travel in Scotland 90% & N. Ireland)

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Business Development Manager position with a nationally recognised and respected Traffic Management company, based out of their Falkirk area office. This Business Development Manager role is suitable for a someone with experience in sectors such as Traffic Management, Construction or Logistics.

Business Development Manager Role

Working for a fantastic company, your role as Business Development Manager will be to lead and develop both High Speed and Low Speed works across the business.

Developing efficiencies. Pricing and tendering of work, and developing/maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. A key aspect will also be Interfacing with all departments .

Working with all members of staff and external agency and customer/contractor contact. Demonstrate the ability to function competently both as a leader and member of a multi-disciplinary team and acknowledge contribution of colleagues.

Good time management will be a key factor in making this position workable. A systematic, flexible and innovative approach to problem solving where barriers to understanding or financial constraints exist.

You will attend site surveys, customer meetings and any other external agency meetings if required. You will also liaise with customers, ensuring all requirements are met to the satisfaction of legal requirements, whilst ensuring that all communication from the customer is recorded.

Business Development Manager requirem

* Excellent Communication and Keyboard Skills.
* A full UK driving licence
* Understanding of the traffic management industry - Preferable - experience in the role in a logistics background or construction will be considered.
* Working on own initiative with minimal supervision.
* Must be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCad/Cone.
* Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health & Safety and Quality Management.
