Role Profile:
I am seeking an experienced and confident Business Development Manager to join a International Freight Forwarding Company, that offers road, ocean and air freight services worldwide. Their main goal is to provide the highest level of customers satisfaction and first-class service.
As a new Business Development Manager, you will be identifying potential clients and establish strong business relationships to expand the customer base. You will provide outstanding customer service and act as the primary point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and leads within the freight forwarding industry.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and quotes to prospective clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Process shipping documents, customs clearance, and other necessary paperwork to ensure efficient cargo movement and pick ups
- Work closely with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to optimise the shipping process and resolve any logistical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and customs requirements for international shipments.
- Keep abreast of changes in import/export regulations and customs procedures to facilitate smooth operations and avoid penalties or delays.
