This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing top tier accounts and driving new business growth in the Wholesale, Independent Retail, Garden Centres, Farm Shops, and Deli segments.
Due to growth, they are expanding and looking for an up & coming, driven Sales Professional to join their tenacious team.
Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:
- Manage and develop relationships with top tier accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Wholesale and Independent Retail
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer support
- Utilize excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and agreements
- Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts and reports
Qualifications and Experience of a Business Development Manager:
- Proven experience in field sales within the FMCG industry
- A real flare for winning new business
- Demonstrated success in managing top tier accounts and driving new business growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel regularly
