Business Development Managerrequired for a Sunday Times top 250, family owned Freight Forwarder.
The Freight Forwarder have multiple UK sites - this role will be based from their Bristol office.
This Business Development Managerrole would suit a talented freight sales professional with a solid grounding in Air Freight operations or Air Freight internal sales looking for a step into external sales.
You manage your own diary, day and week !
The Package :
£30K - £45K
Uncapped commission
Twice yearly company performance related bonus.

28 days holiday including bank holidays (increases annually)
The Role:
To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients.
To undertake presentations for long-term business, produce and present tenders and quotations for business.
To offer a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers, by demonstrating a professional, helpful and positive manner.
To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
To build and maintain effective business relationships with overseas correspondents, exchanging information, undertaking joint business and supporting sales visits to and from them in order to develop sales.
Work with Line Managers to promote specific markets and generate business, through a co-ordinated programme of targeted joint calls.
Responsible for current developments in the market and information on competitors.
Requirements:
Freight Forwarding sales experience - internal or external
Business 2 Business experience
Air Freight ESSENTIAL
Sea Freight CONSIDERED
Road Freight CONSIDERED
Strong Operational background in Air Freight and the desire for sales also considered.
