TITLE: Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive – Liquid Waste
SALARY: Circa £43-45K plus uncapped Bonus, Car or Allowance
LOCATION: Area role covering the North East

ROLE: Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive –Liquid Waste
You will focus on securing profitable contracts for Liquid Waste management services and large one-off jobs in the surrounding area, including Tankered Services. You will collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth handling of materials through the business.
Your responsibilities will include cold calling, generating leads, and following up on inquiries to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Additionally, you may need to deliver presentations, offer consultations, and present solution-based pitches to potential clients.
EXPERIENCE: Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager –Liquid Waste
You will have experience delivering vs target in a similar new business role selling waste management or brokered waste services.
You should possess a solid technical understanding and be able to effectively communicate with a technical team. Your exposure to hazardous waste should be sufficient to comprehend the requirements of pre-acceptance.
You will be happy to commute regionally but also spend 2 days a week at the depot, UK driving licence essential
Any chemistry-based qualifications a plus, but the focus will be on sales skills.
