Established in 2007 my Kent based client offers businesses within London, the M25 and Kent a complete range of cost effective soft and hard FM services. Their soft services offering includes cleaning services, vertical cleaning, washroom services, waste management, grounds maintenance, pest control, security services and on-site catering. The hard services they offer include painting/decoration, handyman services, preventative and reactive maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire/security systems (including fencing and gates and barriers). They are currently looking to employ a Business Development Manager.
The purpose of the role of Business Development Manager is to sell the company’s cleaning, security and maintenance services into commercial and public clients, targeting the London area specifically (although work in the wider South East region will not be turned away!) Potential target clients would be property management companies, schools, individual landlords and offices etc. The incumbent would be provided with some leads/appointments as the company have two full-time tele marketeers who produce some very good leads. The hard services side of the business has seen excellent growth over the last few years and has great potential for cross-selling. However, the main focus will be on new business. The BDM will be responsible for the whole sales cycle including initial contact, relation building, presenting and closing the sale.
Candidates for this role will ideally reside within the North/South Circular Roads, but certainly within the M25, have a provable track record of successful FM sales, have strong communication skills, be well presented and have an excellent knowledge of the sales cycle.
Basic salary £45k-£55k commission (structure to be agreed), travel (method to be agreed), expenses, mobile, laptop etc.
