SalaryAn independent London Law Firm wish to recruit an articulate and confident Business Development & Marketing Executive to support marketing and BD across the firm's core departments and sectors.
The BD & Marketing team is undergoing a serious upgrade and is poised to play a crucial part in shaping the firm’s future. The team will be tasked with building the firm’s reputation among all stakeholders, helping to develop deeper and broader relationships and driving and supporting revenue growth. The Business Development & Marketing Executive will be a key member of the BD & Marketing team. You will be critical in supporting BD and marketing across the firm's core practices and sectors, with the goal of both profile raising and contributing to the firm's revenue generation objectives. A certain degree of practice-group alignment is likely to be introduced over time. The role holder will enjoy a broad role working closely with the Senior BD Managers to implement and execute strategic business plans, supporting BD projects and initiatives through to completion. You will contribute and produce pitch and proposal opportunities, delivering strong, first working documents to the partners and seeing the proposal process through to completion, share ideas to develop new and existing clients as well as proactively seeking out ways to cross sell into the wider business and assist with the development, adoption and maintenance of the firm's CRM system. On the marketing side, the successful applicant will support on the design and implementation of structured and planned approaches across the full range of marketing activities including legal directory submissions, profile raising, campaign management, events, marketing collateral, social media and PR and communications.
The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with proven BD & Marketing experience gained whilst working in a professional services environment, ideally in a Law Firm. A creative thinker with a strong understanding of BD and marketing principles and strategies, including digital marketing and social media, the Business Development & Marketing Executive will possess exemplary communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge and experience of using a CRM and campaign-management systems are also essential.
