An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Partner- Logistics and Shipping to join our Business Development Team reporting to our Business Development Manager. The Business Development Team at ETC have the vision “We are an extension of your team”. As a Business Development Partner- Logistics & Shipping with Etc. you will be responsible for developing links with employers to promote and grow apprenticeships, Bootcamps, AEB & commercial training across the logistics and shipping sector. You will engage with employers to discuss their staffing requirements and training needs, attend networking events to promote the college reputation and provision and work alongside our curriculum teams to develop the logistics provision.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communication, have a proactive attitude, the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also be able to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Previous experience of sales to businesses, using a CRM and using IT to track performance is essential. An understanding of apprenticeship funding and other provision is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
