Senior Business Development / Sales Engineer

Luxshare-ICT Europe is responsible for the UK and European market and is a dynamic and exciting company to be a part of. We are now looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to further strengthen our Northwest based team ready for the fantastic challenges that lie ahead. Position is predominantly office based in WA3 area but as part of the role there will also be UK, European and International travel.
Key role and responsibilities for the Senior Sales Engineer position are.
- Source, develop and establish new business.
- Independently research and prospect using a variety of techniques including online research, networking, and active participation in industry events to win new accounts.
- Effective marketing of the extensive product portfolio within Luxshare to both new and existing customers to maximise our full sales potential.
- Project management is an essential skill as you will act as the liaison between customer and Luxshare s many factories based in Asia.
- Build strong client relationships through regular communication with our existing customer base to increase sales potential and maintain customer retention.
- Good reporting skills to detail the status of accounts.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets or exceeds a client s needs.
Minimum requirements for the role of Senior Sales Engineer are.
- Degree in Engineering, preferably electronics.
- Understanding of sales principles and a proven track record of new Business Development.
- Proven work experience in a relevant engineering role.
- Tenacious attitude when trying to win new business.
- An enthusiastic, self-starter attitude and a hunger to succeed.
- Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
- High degree of professionalism in customer service.
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Possesses good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills from initial enquiry through to new contract.
- Knowledge of market segments including Consumer Electronics and Automotive would be an advantage.
- A second language would be advantageous.
- UK full driving licence
