Business Development Support Manager - Remote or Hybrid to Leigton Buzzard Office
You will provide support to the Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to facilitate the delivery of a professional interface between Connells Survey and Valuation, and other Connells Group businesses including Estate Agents, mortgage brokers and conveyancers, and also a range of external introducers and Housing Associations.
To achieve this you will need to build and maintain strong relationships with Connells Group businesses including Estate Agents, mortgage brokers and conveyancers, and a range of external client introducers and Housing Associations at all levels to ensure clear lines of communication are established and maintained at all times.
- Be an active participant of the Business Development Team and contribute fully to the growth and success of the business
- Assist Business Development Managers generating additional survey leads through poor performing and remote Group Estate Agents and mortgage brokers
- Assist Business Development Managers communicating with Housing Associations and carrying out associated administrative tasks
- Assist Business Development Mangers sending weekly stats and updates to Group referrers and external introducers
- Assist Business Development Managers chasing case pipeline, calling introducers and updating case status
- Assist in organisation of pre-meeting planning and preparation, to produce and distribute agendas and previous meeting minutes
- Attendance at and proactive participation in periodic Business Development meetings and review calls
- Assist in the recording and production of meeting minutes and actions, and distribution of same in a professional and timely fashion
- Assist with collation, analysis and distribution of customer feedback and satisfaction reviews to maximise customer satisfaction and help ensure ongoing improvement
- Assist with the production of appropriate marketing material and distribution
- Assist in liaison with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure any actions arising are addressed and resolved prior to next periodic review meeting
- Assist in liaising with all internal administration teams and other company departments to ensure client requirements and administration duties are satisfied in a professional and timely manner
- Assist in the timely issue and distribution of Business Development team meetings minutes
- Support contact with introducers to field and resolve queries and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Meet with and update the Senior BDM periodically
- Support a continuous improvement programme to maximise client engagement and benefit
Skills Required
- Ideal candidate would have knowledge of the property industry and worked in a sales / Sales Support role previously
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people, both internally and externally and at all levels
- Good customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- A commitment to team work and working in a collaborative manner
- Good organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to a high standard under pressure and ensure deadlines are achieved
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and work on own initiative
