We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join our dynamic team in September 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business and economics, with the ability to inspire and engage students at various levels of understanding.

Role: Business & Economics Teacher

School Type: All girls, Secondary School

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2024 Start

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Business and Economics for students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Develop and implement schemes of work in line with the curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to the broader school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
• Stay current with developments in business and economics education and integrate these into teaching.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Business and Economics at the secondary school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
