Business Excellence Analyst, UK & Ireland - Allergan Aesthetics

  • Reporting to the Business Excellence and Sales Force Effectiveness Manager
  • Based in Marlow, United Kingdom with 3/2 flexible working.

Overview:

Supporting the evolution of our Business Excellence and Sales Force Effectiveness team to optimise commercial performance. Develop and implement leading edge customer and data analytics to track our cross functional team’s execution of our brand plans. Ensure our data and systems are fit for purpose and all customer and data insights are fully utilised to support our Omni and Sales Force Excellence evolution and performance.


Highlighted Responsibilities:

Business Insights & Analytics

  • Lead the reporting for the Aesthetics Business Unit: Develop, produce and distribute standardised quarterly, monthly, weekly and ad hoc Sales reporting and analysis from the data warehouse and cubes working with Power BI primarily.
  • Support the Allergan Aesthetics business by evaluating key marketplace trends, data and insight.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and develop/track KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Apply analytical expertise to support decision making, by integrating multiple data sources, evaluate key market trends, to provide an objective viewpoint and recommendations.
  • Ensure a high level of information and knowledge of Allergan and competitors performance driving strong adoption of KPIs.
  • Partner with other functions Marketing/Digital/Sales/Finance/Commercial/Sales to identify key insights and business requirements to track commercial KPIs by function.

Business Operations & Planning

  • Work closely with the UK Business Excellence team, Sales and Finance, identifying processes and tools to allocate Sales Targets and resources, and provide support on how to improve sales force operations on an ongoing basis.
  • Co-Lead the BEX SFE process to support Segmentation and Targeting, Sales Incentive Planning, Sales Targets to evolve our operating model and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with multiple department including Marketing and Commercial to continuously improve our operating model through effective AM and SFE practices
  • Leverage your analytical expertise and commercial knowledge to align and support during Key Business Processes such as Business Reviews and Budget Reviews
  • Support Sales Director, GM and BEX to deliver appropriate demand forecasting process for the UK Business. Partner with the Sales & Marketing Teams to identify key drivers and assumptions and execute modeling/forecasting as required to enable strategic decisions.
  • Prepare monthly quantitative and qualitative analysis of brand performance measured against Key Performance Indicators & present at quarterly Operational Meetings

Skills and Experience:

  • Substantial experience within a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry with a specific focus on delivery of Sales Analytics.
  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical and commercial data, and which source to leverage in order to answer business questions most effectively.
  • Understanding of Sales Force Effectiveness approaches and development of Multichannel evolution across customer facing teams
  • Solid understanding of commercial business, marketing and industry standard datasets.
  • Experience in data visualisation ideally PowerBI and knowledge of Veeva CRM and Salesforce systems
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly executive presentation skills.
  • Very strong MS Office skills with advanced excel skills.
