The role is perfect for well-established senior associates looking to make the jump to Partnership or experienced partners looking for a change of environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice Development: identify new business opportunities from inside and outside of the firm's existing client base and drive referrals of work to other departments such as employment.
- Legal Expertise: provide clients with high-quality legal advice across a range of immigration queries and visa applications focusing mostly on corporate immigration matters such as skilled worker applications and sponsorship issues,
- Client management: maintain and continue to build strong relationships with clients and ensure clients’ needs are met effectively and efficiently.
- Team leadership: you will play a key part in the growth and development of the immigration team. You must be able to collaborate with junior colleagues and support staff and ensure their professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or non-qualified immigration lawyer with strong experience advising corporate clients on a range of visa categories.
- Proven track record of managing and developing new business.
- Client following large enough to cover year 1 costs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Can-do attitude.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior lawyers and staff members.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
