Duties/Responsibilities

Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 DOE
Hours of Work: 0745-1630 (1615 on Friday) OR 0800-1715 (1700 on Friday)
This role will be responsible for:
  • Design and development of dashboards and associated reporting using visualisation tools such as Power BI and Smartsheet ensuring compliance to our internal and customer Information Security policies.
  • Lead data interrogation and trend analysis, monitoring account performance throughout the month, to provide meaningful data insight to the management team enabling intelligent action.
  • Process mapping, analysing and reviewing account processes from end to end in order to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Management of account SharePoint sites, including site page creation and content creation where required. Ensuring adherence to applicable document storage and retention rules, best practice, and management of access.
  • Support Governance Framework with administrative tasks such as minute taking and action tracking.
  • Assist in troubleshooting software application issues including Excel, Power BI and Smartsheet.
  • Understand the needs of stakeholders and how these can be met through business change and digital solutions.
  • Provide project support to ad-hoc issues and requests when required.

Person Specification

Our ideal candidate will have/be able to:
  • Proven ability to provide a high standard of support in operational reporting principles, including the ability to implement systems and processes and to proactively resolve problems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical along with a strong problem solving and analytical mindset.
  • Solution focused with a positive outlook; apply creative thinking when problem solving.
  • A patient, resilient and "customer first" manner, being able to adapt and prioritise to provide successful outcomes.
  • Use own initiative and take responsibility appropriate to the role of Business Information Analyst.
  • Take a thorough and organised approach and plan analysis activities in line with business priorities.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of the organisation.
  • A strong working knowledge and competence of using Microsoft Office applications including demonstrable experience in using tools such as Microsoft Power BI and SharePoint.
  • Experience in FM industry desirable.
  • Previous line management experience desirable but not essential.
