Business Insight Analyst - Growing, international food business

Based: Near Guildford (hybrid -1/2 days per week in office)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits and bonus

An exciting opportunity now exists to work as an Business Insight Analyst in this dynamic food business in Surrey which has expanded rapidly in the last couple of years and now operates on a truly international basis.

Reporting directly to the Head of eCommerce, the Business Insight Analyst role is a newly created role and responsibilities will include:

• business partnering with the commercial,operational and finance teams
• producer regular and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions
• analytical support will include; gross margin analysis, pricing analysis,promotional analysis etc
• Investment appraisal of new product launches
• sensitivity analysis
• assisting commercial and operational teams in analysing key inputs into the budgeting and forecasting process

Requirements for this Business Insight Analyst are as follows:

• Bachelors degree in finance, maths, statistics or economics
• 2+ years of commercial business partnering / analytics / FP&A experience
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI and basic coding skills essential
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling and experience of working with complex data
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
