What youll be doing:
Working in an exciting and challenging role, you will be pitching, developing, managing & maintaining BI solutions and projects primarily using Qlik Sense Enterprise Edition. You will provide accurate data analytics across the Business using various data sources including SQL Server, AS400 & Cache databases via ODBC with a focus on process efficiency and continuous improvement. You will also be supporting the management and integration of distributor supplied sales figures.
A complete induction and training program will ensure you get the best possible start in your new role while ensuring you are then able to confidently take on project-based tasks in the first three months of your appointment.
We are looking for an individual who is confident to not only work as part of the Team, but someone who can also work effectively on their own while managing and contributing to multiple projects. Excellent time management is therefore essential, and you will never be bored!
You will also be required to deliver or facilitate delivery of relevant training to new application users or user groups to drive engagement with the current BI solution/framework.

Salary £32-£37k, dependent on experience
Your Experience:
You will have excellent attention to detail and have experience working with a data driven BI solution (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau etc) to develop dashboards, reports & visualisations. As a result, you will also be familiar with managing complex data sets as well as be able to demonstrate experience with data modelling and be an experienced user of relational databases with an understanding of DSDM Agile principals to efficiently deliver tasks/projects. You will also be able to demonstrate your understanding of ETL/ELT, cloud-based data systems and SQL query language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all management levels with the capability to deal with multiple tasks/projects and achieve time bound objectives within a busy department.
Key Duties:
What you do on a day-to-day basis:
- Develop, manage, and maintain BI Solutions through the application/process lifecycle using Qlik Sense Enterprise Edition, relational databases (including but not limited to AS400 & SQL Server) while adhering to Agile Principals regarding task/project deliverables.
Develop and maintain operational BI dashboards and reports relating to key business metrics and reporting/process requirements in line with SLAs and project specs.
Generate and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders and business users at all levels within agreed criteria/specification and timescales using (but not limited to) Qlik Sense Enterprise Edition and MS Excel where appropriate.
Analyse business/departmental processes, goals and requirements to drive business and process efficiencies through technology and data.
Create and maintain technical and operational documentation including requirement and design specifications and version control records in-line with business and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and monitor analytics ready data standards and documentation through a combination of data validation/verification and quality assurance checking to deliver accurate reporting and insights in-line with business and regulatory requirements.
Manage the Business Intelligence workflow and support on all work allocated to the Team as required, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within specified time schedules in-line with DSDM Agile principals.
Recommend solutions for continually improving the BI Team experience and support departmental users where required.

In order to meet business needs and demands, you may occasionally be required to work hours in excess of your designated schedule. All employees are expected to demonstrate a reasonable level of flexibility to such requests wherever possible. The Company reserves the right after due notice and consultation, to amend or alter employee working hours in order to meet changing business needs.
