Exciting opportunities exist within our Business Intelligence (BI) Team right now. We love data and using it to add real value to drive key business decisions. We're a super curious bunch and would love to attract people who want to disrupt the status quo. It's a fantastic time to join the BI team as we start to utilise the tools associated with our Microsoft Partnership, this role has a real opportunity to shape this for our customers.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist, who can join us and shape how we support and manage the delivery of the key business information the Bank requires to grow and succeed

What you'll be doing
• Analysing designing and creating new BI content to bring data to life and provide the answers for key business decisions.
• Designing BI in-line with the overall Business Intelligence strategy and the Banks Data Strategy
• Working collaboratively with team members and creating value added partnerships with stakeholders across the bank to help deliver simplified end to end solutions.
• Driving internal continuous improvements and the introduction of best practice within the team
• Supporting the rollout of Power BI to the function and customers

We need you to have
• Experience of working in a BI environment using Strategic BI Tools - for example Power BI, SAS, Business Objects, Tableau
• Excellent communication skills with experience in communicating to, influencing, and working with Senior Management
• Demonstrable focus on continuous improvements and value-add activities
• People and project management skills in practical, business oriented roles

It's a bonus if you have but not essential
• Exposure and knowledge of the Big Data Toolset - for example R, Python
• Data modelling and Data Warehouse experience
• Developmental experience of EGuide, and base SAS
