The role of Business Intelligence Support Officer is like the glue that holds the team together, responsible for the collation and reporting of data, performance measures and statutory returns such as Freedom of Information (FoI) requests and Home Office Data Returns. The role also provides administrative support, helping keep the team organised.

This exciting role is integral to supporting the Force and OPCC monitor force performance, provide factual data and support Senior Leaders with decision making.

The role provides the opportunity to learn and develop within Wiltshire Police and the ability to progress to roles such as Senior Business Intelligence Analyst.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and an ability to work independently to meet deadlines , a proven high level of accuracy and great verbal and written communication skills.

This full-time post is graded at W6. The position is agile with the ‘normal place of work’ being Police HQ, Devizes. Agile workers also have flexibility to work from other stations within the Wiltshire force area or from home depending on demand and business requirement.
