About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and talented Business Intelligence Team Leader with expertise in Cognos and a strong background in data warehouse development. 

As BI Team Lead, you’ll lead a small team of BI professionals, driving the design and development of Business Intelligence solutions. 

The role requires technical proficiency, leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • You will hold at least 4+ years developing reports and dashboards within IBM Cognos Analytics with Watson 11.2.1 and have been a Team Lead/supervisor of a high-performing team previously 
  • Multidimensional Reporting, Active Reports
  • Working experience in Framework Manager version 8 onwards 
  • Development skills with strong understanding of databases and database tables
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role with expertise in Cognos.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse development and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • IBM Cognos certification is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with cloud-based BI solutions.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.
  • Team leadership or management experience
