SalarySir Harold Hillier Gardens (SHHG) is an esteemed arboretum sprawled across 180 acres, boasting a diverse collection of over 42,000 trees and shrubs. Notably, our collection includes a remarkable array of oaks, camellias, magnolias, and rhododendrons. Founded in 1977 by Sir Harold Hillier, the Gardens were established as a charitable trust, with Hampshire County Council assuming the role of sole trustee. The primary objective of the trust is to perpetuate Sir Harold's legacy by nurturing and enhancing the Gardens for the benefit of the people.
Over the last two decades, visitor numbers and memberships have increased significantly, leading to an expansion of our team to meet the changing needs of our visitors and to further develop our internationally renowned collection.
As a Business Manager, you will have a crucial role in driving the overall business strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our operations, ensuring the efficient and sustainable growth of the Gardens. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, financial management and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate should have a degree, preferably in Business Administration or Finance, with excellent analytical skills, and experience in driving commercial success in visitor attractions.
