Business Performance Analyst
Stafford (hybrid working available)

We currently have a newly created role to join our Digital E-trade Motor Underwriting team as a Business Performance Analyst.
The opportunity
The role will partner closely with our Underwriters and cross departmentally and will focus on providing MI, Data and performance analysis support for decision making and process improvement reviews. You will be working on regular reporting requirements and identifying trends whilst also providing some ad-hoc project work and continuous improvement.
Your new role
  • Produce detailed, accurate, timely and effective MI and documentation using appropriate tools, techniques, and processes.
  • Prepare and collate data to assist with business planning, performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Provide analysis of Motor data which identifies variances, trends and issues, and present / report to senior management to support informed decision making.
  • Work alongside our pricing team to identify and develop pricing recommendations and post implementation reviews of product behaviours.
  • Review existing processes and identify improvements to promote change and continually develop efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate efficient reporting and enhanced sharing of knowledge.
About you
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (to include Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Good organizational, time management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and understand the implications for the business.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working business relationships.
  • A team worker with good communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of BI reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau and SQL would be an advantage.
