Business Process Specialist - NEPR

Hybrid Working & UK Travel | Fixed Term Contract | Full Time (with some weekend work)

Competitive salary, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

Nuffield Health is the charity that's building a healthier nation, one day at a time. From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes - we'll do whatever it takes to look after the UK's wellbeing. It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.

The NEPR programme will change the way we work across Nuffield Health and put in place a new technology-enabled operating model for our hospitals, replacing many of the manual and paper/location-reliant processes. At the core of this will be an Electronic Patient Record (EPR), which will be used by our clinicians and staff using mobile and traditional devices throughout our hospitals, clinics and gyms, as well as from remote locations outside the Nuffield Health estate.

As the Business Process Specialist, you'll evaluate, review, execute, measure, and monitor a range of tasks within TrakCare with the Go-Live sites. You'll undertake impact assessments as well as contribute to the engagement and training of our hospital staff and consultants.

You will also:

  • Work with the deployment team, hospital change leads, change managers and heads of departments to analyse processes and clinical services of each department.

  • Work with the deployment team to map out the 'as is' and 'to be' processes.

  • Report any potential clinical safety concerns with the product and/or onsite to the deployment lead.

  • Be an 'agent for change', developing a network of advocates across the division, representing the case for change and the benefits from adopting the new systems.

  • Coordinate the training of all staff and partners and the transition to a live working solution

To succeed as our Business Process Specialist, you'll have:

  • Previous healthcare experience.

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of having worked in a hospital environment particularly within hospital administration.

  • Strong project experience and skills / proven track record of successful delivering complex change programmes.

  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation and achieving results via influencing others.

  • Strong leadership and inter-personal skills.

  • Knowledge or understanding of a full patient pathway would be helpful along with excellent knowledge of TrakCare.

Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That's why we've developed a benefits package with you in mind. From free private healthcare to gym membership, a cycle to work scheme and more. At Nuffield Health, we take care of what's important to you.

Join Nuffield Health and create the future you want, today.

It starts with you.
