Start Date: September 2024 – July 2025 (Potential to become permanent)
Contract Type: Full time, Long term contract
Paid to Scale: £143 – £215 per day
The Role:
- Full Time: Monday to Friday
- You will be required to teach Business Studies to KS3/4 students.
- Planning and preparing lessons which cater to all students.
- Marking and assessment to recap or extend the students’ learning as appropriate.
- Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for the highest attainment.
- Pay rates in line with teacher pay scale.
Supply Desk is working with a mixed Secondary School based in Chatham for students aged 11 to 18 years with 1500 on roll. The school holds a Good Ofsted rating and has a supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) that is deeply committed to the school’s values. The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a committed team player.
- Experienced in teaching KS3/4 Business Studies.
- Have a proven track record of raising attainment.
- Be confident and adaptable to different environments.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deliver lessons in an engaging way that students can relate to.
- Have a current DBS or be willing to obtain one.
