Business Support Officer (Licensing) - Part Time
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join the Licensing Team. We are a small but very busy team that deals with a wide range of licensing functions including taxi and alcohol licensing. This is a permanent Part Time post of 14.8 hours per week. Ideally, we are looking for cover two full days a week on Thursdays and Fridays, but we can be flexible with different days or shorter days over the week for the right applicant.
Day to day the role will include checking applications, entering them onto the system, processing them and issuing licences. You will deal with telephone enquiries and respond to email queries from applicants, other agencies and the general public. Additionally, you will provide Business Support to the team.
As an ideal candidate you will be committed to providing excellent customer service and have good written and verbal communication skills You will be a confident user of office software with a good attention to detail and ability to accurately record data and be able to manage your workload to ensure statutory deadlines are met. As this is a small team you will need to be flexible and work closely with the other team members.
You will be able to work from home some of the time if that is your preference, but there will be times when there will an operational need to work at Ebley Mill.
