As a part of the Joint International Crime Centre (JICC) you will deliver a 24/7 international cooperation service to front line policing and law enforcement, using all of the international capabilities within the NCA.
You will play a role in preventing foreign national offenders from entering the UK to commit crime and facilitate the detention and extradition of fugitives to face trial in the UK or overseas bringing justice to victims.
You will build and maintain domestic and international relationships to deliver against operational objectives and you will champion the need to look at crime through an international lens.
The JICC is a fast paced environment, you will work as part of a team who manage a range of enquiries including high risk, complex and time-bound threats, across a variety of crime threat areas. You will use intelligence databases, case management systems and international law enforcement tools to disseminate intelligence around the globe and enable operational activity. You will manage the associated risks in line with agency policy.
You will be required to maintain a flexible and innovative approach, adapting to fluctuating demands and priorities, which could range from simple intelligence checks to managing complex crimes in action.
