About the role
We are looking for a part-time Business Support Officer, to work 22 hours per week over three or four days, Monday to Friday. We offer flexible start and finish times and would welcome a discussion about how you could best fit the hours around your personal commitments. This role is perfect for someone who likes to work in a busy environment where no two days are the same.
St Luke's Respite Service is one of our in-house centres providing support and opportunities to people with learning disabilities, to live as independently as possible and to enjoy lifestyles as close as possible to those enjoyed by other members of the community.
The role will require you to provide high-quality administrative support to the team and to liaise with colleagues, professionals, and members of the public over the phone, via email, and face-to-face.

What will you be doing?
You will be carrying out tasks such as:
answering telephone calls
purchasing items for service delivery
completing accurate financial reports, such as credit card coding
following Cambridgeshire County Council processes
processing staff timesheets to ensure correct pay
updating spreadsheets as and when required
providing support to the management team
About you
You will need a working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook), financial systems and be able to confidently use numerical data.
You will need to be self-motivated, organised, and flexible, with the ability to manage your own workload, prioritise, and forward plan.
Excellent communication skills are essential alongside an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
