Business Systems Manager

This is a truly exceptional opportunity to join one of the most impressive green-tech scale-up businesses in and around Cambridge. 
Having gone through further funding rounds successfully and thought of as one of the most exciting start-ups to come out of Cambridge University in recent years, this is the businesses first senior technology hire. 
This is a hands-on role which will also drive the business planning, roadmap, strategy and budget for the company as they grow. 
Duties will include:

• Working with the business to provide guidance on the best technology and systems.
• Management of current systems - All MS packages, licensing, CRM, project applications, lab systems, storage and data etc
• Hardware management 
• IT Security
• Management of outsourced agreements 
• Development of strategy and roadmap for the future 
• IT Training and support
• Project management of new systems implementations and upgrades

We are looking for the following:

• A proven track record and experience in technology at senior/management level
• Project Management and business anlysis experience 
• Broad range of hands-on experience
• Excellent knowledge of MS packages and in particular SharePoint
• Experience with data, BI and IT security
• Experience managing outsourced IT suppliers
• Outgoing, positive, and proactive approach

The salary on offer is £40-60,000 with a broad range of generous benefits including – 27 days holiday, pension, health-care, income protection, life assurance and mental health support packages.
