SalaryOur client is a prominent international business with their Business HQ in the UK and operations across the world. They are currently in need of a Business Systems Manager to manage their core D365 F&O platform but to also bring other key Business Systems under their remit.
Dynamics was brought in 3yrs ago and Finance and Supply Chain (Warehouse Management, Distribution and Stock control) are the main modules. The set up is fairly mature and well set up but need someone that is business focused and facing to work across the business to optimise business process and modify the system to meet them. The role will be to oversee 2 upgrades from Microsoft per year, patch upgrades, testing, data integration and so on. You will have a team of 5 implementing change and manage a 3rd party SI. You will need to have experience of end-to-end delivery of an ERP.
In terms of other systems, this could be any of 6 core systems that will move away from business ownership and brought under this person’s management. Some of these systems have been left fallow and will require upgrading or replacing and then better process and more mature management implemented by your team. In addition to this, Dynamics CRM will also be implemented in the future (not for a little while).
We therefore need the following:
- A Business Systems manager on the business side not a technical hands-on person that has experience with end-to-end lifecycle of an ERP. D365 would be ideal but any ERP is fine.
- You will have overseen a team that has done the hands-on technical change so configuration, testing and so on.
- You will be used to working across the business to identify requirements from the business for change and to get D365 to meet those requirements.
- You will have other core systems management as well, bespoke to that business or off the shelf.
- Ability to work in the Bath area 2 days a week and the rest remote
This is a key role looking after one core business system and then others as they look to transition from the business owning systems to bringing centrally within the technology teams
