Business Systems Manager

Sure Exec Search are currently working with one of the UK's fastest growing Private Healthcare providers who are looking for three Business Systems Managers to join their team.

Salary - £65,000 - £70,000

Location - Hybrid (Majority remote working with monthly travel required to Stafford, London and/or Colchester a couple of times a month)

Our client is looking for three experienced Business Systems Managers to specialise in the below areas:

Payroll & Finance

Systems used: Netsuite, Business Central, SAP Concur, Lockstep, Amazon Business, and Amex

SAP Concur and/or Netsuite is essential. The role will focus on managing challenging stakeholders and will need a methodical candidate in their work.

Able to commute to Stafford, Colchester, and London

Back Office & Growth

Systems used: Salesforce, Jarvis, Fleet Management, Iron Mountain, Safecall, and Property Management.

Please note experience with Salesforce is essential, other systems above are desirable but not essential.

The primary focus of this role revolves around compliance, ensuring the systems in use facilitate and maintain compliance standards.

Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting Salesforce is essential. Moreover, the ability to work proficiently across various other systems is also crucial for success in this role.

RPA and Internal Applications

Systems used: Rossum (Document Process Automation tool), Google Workspace AppSheets, and internal applications.

The primary focus will be on driving operational efficiencies across departments and processes, while concurrently ensuring high-quality and compliant outcomes.

Responsibilities:

System Implementation and Integration:

  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of new Business Systems
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to assess system requirements and negotiate contracts
  • Ensure seamless integration of various systems to streamline business processes, working closely with the IT Service Desk for a smooth transition to Business as Usual (BAU)

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Monitor and maintain the performance of existing Business Systems
  • Effectively manage contracts and financial performance of Business Systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly, following the Incident Management process
  • Manage the creation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventative measures post-outages
  • Drive continuous improvement within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address their technology needs
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates
  • Build business cases and return on investment (ROI) analyses to gain buy-in from senior stakeholders
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees on new or updated systems

Project Management:

  • Manage projects related to system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within an agreed budget

Technology Assessment:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance business operations
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed technology solutions

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-growth tech scale-up or start-up is desirable
  • Understanding and knowledge of Enterprise Business System tools, including SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, MHR, LMS, HRIS, and Automation RPA Solutions
  • Proven experience in a technical capacity within IT, delivering services to a workforce of 10,000+, including a high percentage of frontline workers
  • Ability to work across the Group, influencing and capturing improvements
  • Self-motivated with a focus on driving efficiencies and continuous improvement
  • Enterprise-level ownership of key Business Systems with effective internal and external relationship management
  • Project Management experience; Agile, Prince2, Six Sigma, AMP, or other qualifications desirable
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, changing, and evolving environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong stakeholder management and meditative skills to understand requirements and benefits
