About the role:
Supply Desk are in search of an ambitious Business Teacher. We aim to hire an outstanding educator with experience teaching all aspects of Business and strong classroom management skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing stimulating and engaging lessons, and capable of fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues
You will be required to:
- Find ways to relay the curriculum to pupils in the most effective way possible
- Plan work in accordance with departmental schemes of work and online curriculum
- Take account of pupils’ prior levels of attainment and use them to set future targets and assess the pupil’s progression
- Mark and return work set, including homework within an agreed and reasonable time frames
- Monitor and set targets for the social and academic progress of all pupils
- Build up good relationships with the pupils, so there is mutual respect
Requirements for this Business Teacher position:
- Have QTS, PGCE, ECT status or equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
- Have experience teaching Business
- Have completed a relevant degree or certificate
- Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
- Able to commute to Butler’s Cross and the surrounding areas
