A market-leading manufacturer of high-quality wiring, lighting, EV, and electrical accessories with over 60 years of industry experience, is seeking a Buying Administrator to join our team.
Location: Bedfordshire region (LU4)

As a Buying Administrator, you will provide essential support to the wider team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
📋 Maintaining the New Product Introduction tracker.
📦 Assisting the Packaging Executive in the preparation of packaging specifications.
🌱 Assisting the Packaging Executive in the transition to sustainable packaging by assessing the current packaging, identifying necessary changes, and implementing them.
💻 Uploading pricing, supplier details, and new product information onto the IE9 system.
🗃️ Maintaining SharePoint records, including legal agreements, pricing agreements, and a database of potential suppliers.
📈 Tracking Commodity Indexes.
🎯 Assisting the Head of Buying in monitoring team KPIs to ensure performance meets start-of-year targets.
🌍 Assisting the Head of Buying with preparations for overseas trips, including visit packs.
💼 Providing ad hoc support to the Head of Buying as needed.
🔝 Supporting the commercial and sales teams with new business tenders and promotional activities.
📊 Completing customer data requests, particularly related to new product introductions (e.g., size, weights).
📦 Preparing and dispatching samples for suppliers to provide quotations against.
