Our Client are a main contractor delivering large infrastrucutre projects throughout the UK, and are looking for a buying adminstrator to join their team in Warrington. Working alongside their expereinced buying manager you will be supporting the team with adminstration tasks and some buying.
This role offers flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate material purchase orders and ensure timely ordering of materials.
- Maintain databases and client systems accurately.
- Manage company assets such as vans, hired plant, skips, welfare units, and stores.
- Liaise with suppliers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Some experience of IT, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
Experience:
- Ideally, experience in a similar role within the building industry or similar sector.
- Customer service and administrative experience preferred.
