The company is a well-established retail supplier who sell to large retail chains we well as eBay & amazon sellers They are based in Tankersley and pride themselves on their wide range of retail products and are renowned for their strong commitment to customer service.
Description
Supporting the buying team in the selection and sourcing of products.
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
Assisting in the management of product lifecycle and inventory.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity within the retail industry.
Ensuring all product and supplier information is accurate and up to date.
Assisting in the preparation of sales forecasts and budget reports.
Attending trade shows and supplier meetings when required.
Providing general administrative support to the buying team.Profile
A successful Buying Assistant should have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for the retail industry.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
The ability to work well as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Job Offer
An estimated salary range of £20,000 - £23,000 per annum, based on skills and experience.
