Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and positive individual for out buying team to assist the Head of Buying & Merchandising Operations and Category Supervisors with all aspects of Buying& Merchandising administration .Alongside a competitive salary, generous holidays, and staff discount - great on-the-job training will be provided to all new staff to ensure your success within our company.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Set up supplier catalogues in X-Margin
  • Set up supplier catalogues in SRS.
  • Create Purchase Orders
  • Purchase Order acknowledgement checking
  • Purchase Order chasing and delivery estimate maintenance
  • Container / Import Order processing
  • Price Maintenance
  • Process Product Information requests from branches
  • Transfer Processing
  • Lead Time maintenance
  • Swatch distribution
  • Spec Sheet creation
  • Ticket creation
  • Assist the B&M Operations Manager, Merchandiser and Category Supervisors as requested.
Team Working
  • Consider your colleagues and give them the support that you would equally expect back in return.
  • Train/offer guidance to colleagues as required.
  • Approach tasks with a ‘can do’ team attitude.
  • Flexibility as required as the business needs change e.g., busy times, colleagues on holiday/absent, projects.
  • Be mindful of safety in your own working practices.
General
  • Involvement in specific other tasks as discussed individually.
  • Responsible for the health and safety of your own actions in relation to your job and the needs of the environment
  • Attend/participate in training as deemed necessary by the Company.
