Overall Purpose:
- The C# Unity Programmer main responsibility will be working in the Innovation Centre programming and developing Unity projects to be used for training.
- The successful candidate will be required to develop new features for our internal systems/training material, integrate hardware/controllers functionality into Unity projects and also optimise the projects for use within our Immersive suite/VR.
- The role will involve designing, uploading and maintaining the training packages used within the Immersive suite.
Key Duties:
- C# programming and system design.
- Game development using Unity.
- Optimise Unity projects to work in our Immersive suite.
- Integrate hardware/controllers functionality into Unity projects.
- Develop VR projects.
- Design, upload and maintain training packages used within the Immersive suite.
- Filming and editing training material for the Immersive suite.
- Liaising with the training team, operations and external customers to support the creation of training material.
- Working with the training team to produce training excellence in all areas.
- Demonstrate the capabilities of the Immersive suite to customers/potential customers.
- Maintaining the digital signage throughout the various sites.
- Research and development of innovation ideas.
- Execute tasks against the Innovation business plan.
- Proactive approach to ideas and progressive training.
- Investigating new technologies in innovation.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary to the success of the business.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Computer Science or other related degree qualification.
- C# programming and system design.
- Unity software development.
- VR development.
- Experience in game development.
The Package:
- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience (Open to all levels).
- Monday - Friday, day shift position: 07.55 - 16.35 Monday to Thursday
& 07.55 - 13.35 Friday. - Company pension scheme.
