Based in Merstham, Surrey, covering Greater London and the South East, we are a busy and expanding tool and construction equipment hire company, looking for a Cabin Maintenance Team Leader.
The key function of this role is to lead the Cabin Maintenance Team in providing a high quality and efficient handyman service, preparing site cabins for hire, maintenance, and repairs on hiring sites, including the following areas of work.
This role does require involvement in the complete hire process and daily activity within the business.
Core activities include:
- Agreeing work schedule for the Cabin Maintenance Team.
- Electrical work and testing and inspection
- Plumbing work and testing and inspection
- Installation of fixtures and fittingsFlat roof repairs (basic preparation of metal and applying seals and coatings).Arranging collection of materials and equipment as required from suppliers.
- To inspect work by the Cabin Maintenance Team and ensure it is to a high standard.
- Ensure the Cabin Maintenance Team adhere to the AllenHire procedures and work schedules

More about you
As one of our Cabin Maintenance Team Leaders, you will have experience in managing a team and technically competent for the activities involved in this role (qualified to a NVQ level is desirable). You will be able to build relationships with customers by communicating in a cheerful, friendly and helpful manner. You will work well as part of a team and have the ability to complete paperwork quickly, neatly and accurately and although you will possess general practical skills you'll also be willing to learn and buy in to the company ethos.
Support and assistance are provided, and those displaying the necessary ability and commitment will have opportunities to progress.
A full driving licence is required for this role
