Cabinet Build Wire Person

Acorn by Synergie is actively seeking Cabinet Build Wirers for a leading global electronics company at their Barnstaple Facility.
Scope of the role:
Working as an essential part of the assembly team, you will be directly manufacturing Electrical based products in accordance with recognised industry standards to Detailed Drawings/Schedules & specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* A strong safety-orientated approach in accordance with "Zero Harm" initiatives. It also requires the ability to manufacture
* Check & follow detailed build instructions to a high degree of accuracy in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraints.
* Complete manufacturing tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls.
* The role requires a zero tolerance to defects & proactive outlook on an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Essential
* Experienced in working on and completing wiring cabinets and enclosures
* Ability to read and understand schematic drawings.
* Extensive experience in a similar role
* Experience in Looming, Crimping and Soldering
* Ability to work on a project unsupervised
* Soldering to an IPC class 3 standard or equivalent
* Experienced in Aerospace industry or similar industry.
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver against deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail
Desirable
* Experience of Accredited Quality Systems such as ISO9001 or AS9100
* Knowledge or experience of Lean manufacturing or production techniques
* Qualification in IPC610/620 would be desirable but not essential
* Qualification in Electrical Engineering.

Working Hours

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.15am to 5.30pm.
Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays after satisfactory passing of probationary period.
