Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Lincoln. As a Cabinet Maker at GMO Interiors, you will play a crucial role in crafting custom cabinets and furniture pieces to meet the exact specifications and expectations of our clients. From initial design concepts to the final installation, you will work closely with our design team to ensure the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

- Interpret technical drawings and design plans to accurately construct cabinets and furniture pieces.

- Select and prepare materials, including wood, veneers, and hardware, according to project requirements.

- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and safety.

- Assemble and finish cabinets and furniture pieces to meet quality standards and client specifications.

- Collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

- Assist with on-site installations as needed, ensuring a seamless transition from workshop to client's home.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role, preferably in a bespoke kitchen or furniture manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in woodworking techniques, including joinery, finishing, and assembly.

- Familiarity with a wide range of materials, tools, and machinery used in cabinet making.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site installations when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
