Cable Puller Contract

Position:Cable Puller (Contract)
Location: Manchester
Duration: On-going

Job Summary: A client of ours are looking for Cable Pullers on a contract basis. The Cable Puller will install, maintain, and fix data cables in commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install Cables: Pull, route, and secure data cables in buildings.
• Maintenance: Find and fix issues with existing cables.
• Testing: Test and certify data cables to ensure they work properly.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of cable routes and changes.
• Teamwork: Work with other team members to complete projects.
• Safety: Follow all safety rules to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• 1-2 years in cable pulling or a related job, preferably in data communications.
• Knowledge of different data cables like Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics.
• Understanding of industry standards and safety rules.
• ECS/ CSCS
• IPAF (not esssential)
