The Job You’ll Do;
- Design and program according to Customer orders and quotes for various sites.
- Calculate the BOM and routings.
- Create manufacturing / engineering drawings using Radan, AutoCAD Software.
- Check all quotes and advise accordingly the relevant parties.
- Prepare drawings for company Sales Representatives and quotations team, as and when required.
- Liaise with Sales Representatives and quotations regarding any queries, as and when required.
- Liaise with shop floor Team Leaders and answer any queries in relation to production.
- Provide timescales to the CAD CAM Team Leader in relation to customer orders.
- Undertake nesting of standard and specials as and when required.
- Involvement in new product development, productivity, and Industrialisation projects as and when required.
- Provide information to the Industrialisation Department, when required.
- Program samples for the R&D / Technical Department.
- Trouble shooting common machine, program, and production issues.
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the CAD CAM Team Leader.
- Audit tooling at regular intervals for production purposes.
- Provide support to Production when necessary.
- Involvement in productivity projects and aim to reduce manufacturing process costs.
- Assistance for engineering changes as and when they occur.
- To be a point of contact regards Radan technical support for the site.
- Management of the OPGL database for Routings and BOM's for special products.
- Ensure all CADCAM files are up to date as and when orders are received.

- Also be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your key duties.
About You;
- Experience of dealing with manufacturing / engineering drawings is desirable.
- Be competent in CAD software, preferably Radan / AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of production processes required (sheet metal work processes).
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
- Well organised, able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Be self-motivated and ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Microsoft Office, Excel and Word required (basic level)
- Knowledge of database systems is desirable.
- Willing and able to undertake occasional travel.
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred.
