We are a well-established family-owned business specialising in the supply of industrial combustion equipment and controls to a variety of industries worldwide for the past 40 years. As part of our expansion plans, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CAD Design Engineer / CAD Technician / CAD Draughtsman to join our innovative, friendly, and dedicated team with the provision of moving into a Design Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

About the Role: -

As a CAD Technician / CAD Design Engineer / CAD Draughtsperson you will play a crucial role in our design department, working collaboratively with the team to create 2D and 3D design drawings using Autodesk Inventor software. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, progress into managing individual assignments, and contribute to the growth and success of our family business.

Responsibilities: -

• Collaborate with the design department team to produce accurate and detailed 2D and 3D design drawings.
• Utilise Autodesk Inventor software for CAD design tasks.
• Develop and manage projects, eventually handling individual assignments.
• Work in a team-oriented environment within our well-established and innovative family business.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all design work.
• Exhibit flexibility and reliability, being willing to work additional hours during busy periods.

Essential Skills: -

• Proven experience as a CAD Design, CAD Technician or CAD Draughtsperson, or similar role (Ideally 2-3 years of working experience)
• Proficiency in CAD software, ideally with experience in Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate within the design department.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Demonstrate reliability and flexibility, including a willingness to work extra hours during peak times.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work
