Cad Design Engineer Bess Layout

Sisko Group are pleased to be partnered with an exciting renewable project developer based in Central London. This is the UK centric division of a global renewable project developer with operations in 11 countries worldwide and in excess of 800MW of assets energised globally. We are currently recruiting for a CAD Design Engineer to assist with site layout designs, plant optimisation and regulatory input. The successful individual will have knowledge of assisting with project development of battery and PV projects.
This is an opportunity to join a growing team based in Paddington, where applicants will be based for a minimum of 3 days per week, ideally more. Key requirements are as follows:-

• We are looking for a person who has been responsible for the design of multiple renewable energy projects, particularly batteries and solar.
• Deep knowledge of UK regulation for the plant s design - distances to be considered from battery/solar farms to roads, low/medium/high voltage lines, substations dimension, gas or other pipelines, access to land, green belt, houses
• The person must have knowledge of AutoCad PVSyst, GIS and other programmes necessary for the execution of project layouts.
• Capable of optimizing plant sizing based on site size and shape.
• Knowledge and experience in project development, being involved in the development of projects that have been built - from Greenfield to Brownfield.
• Someone independent who can lead and make decisions on his day-to-day tasks but is also capable of transferring knowledge to others.
