CAD Designer/Estimator Required!

Founded in 2011, our client are manufacturers of seating solutions tailored for various commercial settings. As a small company, they prioritise adaptability and versatility among their team, and due to ongoing growth, they're looking for a dedicated and driven individual to join their small friendly team.

(CAD Designer/Estimator) - Position Overview

• Use of CAD and related software to produce bespoke designs to me customer briefs.
• CNC programming using Alphacam.
• Accumark software for fabric patterns for Gerber laser cutter
• Cutting specifications for foams
• Sourcing fixtures and fittings for furniture assembly
• Space planning
• 3D renders
• Estimating/ preparing quotes
• Site visits/ templating
• Liaison with customers to obtain detailed project information to enable the manufacturing designs to be prepared and to monitor project progress.

(CAD Designer/Estimator) - Position Requirements

• Solidworks
• Alphacam
• Excel

Desirable

• Chief Architect
• Knowledge of furniture manufacturing

• Adobe design suite

(CAD Designer/Estimator) - Position Remuneration

• Monday to Friday position (37.5 hour working week)
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• £25,000 to £33,000 (depending on skills and experience)
• Company pension
