Using a mixture of 2D and 3D CAD software, you will work on various projects to develop bespoke and high-quality products for a range of this company’s clients. The Job You’ll Do;

• Reporting into the Product Development Manager, you will be a part of a small Product Development Team.
• You will use your 2D CAD skills to create Client Approval drawings for bespoke products.
• You will use your 3D CAD skills to create manufacturing information for bespoke products, product customisation, product improvements and range extension.
• You will be responsible for the NPI of bespoke projects, product customisation, range extensions, and standard product improvements, taking products from initial enquiry to production, including costing, concept and detail design, prototyping and production drawings and work instructions.
• You will actively seek opportunities to develop our products and processes in order to improve our products’ market appeal, profitability and quality.
• You will aim to exceed the expectations of our customers and clients, through the realisation into manufacture of well designed, thoughtful, elegant products.
• You will provide a first-class, timely service to our internal customers and partners, including our Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
• You may be required to represent the Company by attending meetings, visiting clients’ premises, and conducting site surveys.
• Follow health and safety instructions provided and safeguard your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions.
• Any other reasonable task as requested by your line manager.

About You;

• Working knowledge of 2D / 3D CAD software.
• Detail oriented and conscientious.
• Problem solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Experienced with Solidworks (desirable).
• Experienced with the creation of manufacturing drawings and information (desirable).
