Cad Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to join a leading manufacturing and install company who pride themselves in supporting staff.

Key Job Requirements:

• Producing detailed manufacturing fabrication drawings for project designs working from site surveys within the required timescales.
• Liaising with the sales team, architects, customers and suppliers throughout the design and installation process.
• Producing material, component & bolt lists for procurement.
• Aiding the manufacturing and site installation team to fully understand the fabrication drawings and answer queries as they arise.
• Attending site to undertake site surveys.

Key Skills Requirements:

• 2D & 3D AutoCAD
• Autodesk Inventor (would be advantageous but not essential)
• REVIT Family Generation and Modification (would be advantageous but not essential)
• Experienced in mechanical and engineering practices
• Driving licence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven history in mechanical engineering.

Additional Details:

• Salary up to £32,000 per annum
• 39 per week: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm & Friday 8:30am - 4pm.
• 7% company pension contribution (employee non-contributory pension scheme)
• Annual Company-wide tax-free Employee Ownership Bonus scheme (non-guaranteed, however this has been £3,600 per year for the last 3 years, and a record £6,500 for 2023/34)
