SalaryOur client is looking for a CAD Operative / Visualisation planner for a construction site in Birmingham, B4 to start immediately.
Environment
- Site based
- Fully conversant with AutoCAD and with their own computer and software licenses.
- Ideally conversant with 4D modelling software so they can converse with 4D modeller.
- The works are the production of logistical time slice drawings and specific logistics plans.
Job description
CAD Technician / Visualisation planner required to undertake the following:
- Amend and Update Drawings
- Plan and coordinate visual presentations inline with current and future activities.
- Produce a variety of drawings showing coordinated sequencing between contractors
- Liaise with clients, contractors, sub contractors and third parties.
- Attend and contribute to Team meetings, taking information to update, develop plan and produce visualisation.
Skills:
- Proficient in using industry design Software
- Good Knowledge of MS Packages, inc. outlook, excel word
- Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Have ability to self check own work
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Familiar working within the construction industry
To be successful in this role you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Preferred – Design Based Qualification e.g. Degree, Apprenticeship, A LEVEL
- Familiar with Auotcad
- Industry Visualisation Software e.g. Inkscape, Blue Beam etc.
- Conversant with 4D modelling software
Job Details:
- Salary: £30 per hour
- Shifts: 7.30am - 5.30pm
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 - 8 weeks
- PPE required: own steel toe cap boots with midsole protection, CSCS prefered
