Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a CAD Technician to work on our Anglian Water IOS Alliance Contract in Colchester.
As a CAD Technician, you will need to produce Revit models relating to the Civil and Structural design of water and wastewater assets. Produce Plant3D models and P&IDs relating to the Mechanical design of water and wastewater assets.
You will be required to produce Civil3D models relating to the Civil and infrastructure design of water and wastewater assets. The CAD Technician shall be experienced in one or more software listed above and open to learning other discipline and software’s.
You will support the Designer in the production of models and drawings. Ensure compliance with relevant local and national standards. Design water and wastewater assets (slabs, tanks, structures, pipework, equipment’s). The CAD Technician will be expected to lead the graphical design and take guidance on the specification from the discipline Engineer.
Do you have water and waste water design experience?
Have you gained Level 5 qualification or higher (as below) in Civil / Structural Engineering?
Do you have any of the following:
- Diploma of higher education (DipHE)
- Foundation degree
- Higher national diploma (HND)
- Level 5 award
- Level 5 certificate
- Level 5 diploma
- Level 5 NVQ
Have you gained working experience with Autodesk software’s?
Are you fluent in Microsoft Office 360?
Are you familiar with reinforcement detailing & scheduling?
Concrete & pipework specification and design?
Structural design?
Site surveying using laser scanning?
Incorporation of drone surveys using Autodesk Civil 3D, Plant3D, Revit software?
