In this role, the CAD Technician will be pivotal in developing detailed upholstery solutions aligned with external design concepts. Responsibilities include creating and refining 2D and 3D models, developing precise patterns, and optimizing materials and manufacturing processes.
The ideal CAD Technician brings extensive experience in modern upholstery manufacture and pattern development, complemented by proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software. They are adept problem-solvers with a creative mindset, committed to translating design concepts into efficient and high-quality products while fostering innovation in furniture manufacturing.
The Role:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models for upholstery solutions.
- Create and refine patterns for manufacturing
- Collaborate with design and operations teams to ensure alignment with design intent
The Person:
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D in AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Experience in upholstery pattern development and digitization
- Familiarity with modern manufacturing methods
