Café All Rounder

Overview:
We are looking to employ a reliable and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team. The normal hours will be one day a week (Weekday)and, during staff holidays, it will increase to 2-3 days a week (It may include weekends).

Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, customer service, Hot and cold drinks preparation and serving. Also, you will play a crucial role of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work alongside the head chef, preparing sandwiches, basic cake baking, salads and specials of the day. Some experience preferred. However, ongoing training will be provided.
- Assist with other duties as assigned

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
