A new position has become available with our client in Milton Keynes due to ongoing growth.
The company are one of the leaders in Internal Combustion, Hybrid and EV testing and are seeking a Calibration Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
You will be joining the Projects & Facilities team undertaking the following:
- Tackle technical ownership of the test cell equipment calibration across two state-of-the-art testing sites in Milton Keynes
- Create and update calibration procedures and uncertainty budgets
- Check and approve certifications and calculations produced by any team member
- Communicate with internal and external client teams and as act as a representative of the business
- Be responsible for the maintenance of the asset databases to track all equipment
- Work closely with the team in delivering planned tasks to schedule and cost
To succeed in this position we are looking for a Calibration Engineer with the following:
- Proven technical understanding of Uncertainty Measurement and able to create budgets for measurement instrumentation & equipment
- Excellent experience and knowledge of test cell calibration and equipment utilising software & equipment such as Bemax MC6, KloudGin, CERDAAC etc.
- Ideally educated to HNC in a related subject or approx. 5 years’ experience in a UKAS accredited laboratory
- Exceptional time management and able to communicate well
